According to foreign media reports, researchers at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, have developed a lithium metal battery (LMb), in detail, a Li/NCM battery. They say the battery, designed with the operating requirements of electric vehicles in mind, outperforms lithium metal batteries previously described in the literature. The new LMb supports fast charging while delivering high energy density. With a theoretical capacity of 3860mAh/g, lithium metal is an ideal anode material for high energy density
