Bian Shuguang said that the important markets of lithium-ion batteries are in the United States, Europe and Asia, while Asia is important in China, Japan and South Korea. Now China is an important producer of batteries. From the perspective of the company, the United States has relatively strong R&D and design capabilities, and Japan's production standards are relatively strict, while China has surpassed Japan in market share and occupied the top position. The major gap between China and foreign countries is in terms of single batteries, but there is still a long way to go in terms of materials, even in some basic power supply research, including consistency, battery safety, and core technology, which is also the first step of our company's innovation. So far, the supply of lithium-ion battery power lithium-ion battery in China should reach 1.67 billion watt hours. At the same time, we have basically occupied nearly 50% of the international market share, and we are still making progress in market share.
In Bian Shuguang's opinion, we still have some big problems in lithium battery materials. The main problems are: first, high-end battery materials are not self-sufficient at present, low-end materials are surplus, high-end materials are insufficient, research on the production process of materials is still lacking, and material stability is insufficient. Second, there are still some problems in battery design, and multiple batteries cannot meet the demand. Third, the battery recycling plan is insufficient and the production equipment level is not high. There is still a certain gap with foreign companies in terms of manufacturing accuracy, monomer temperature characteristics and temperature adaptation of single battery. In addition, the battery company's manufacturing process is imitative and lacks its own innovation ability. Therefore, Chinese companies should focus on learning from the relevant mature experience and equipment level in the West. At the same time, the battery in China lacks some detection functions, and is still insufficient in the reliability of data acquisition, accurate estimation of SOE, thermal management, and safety management. It needs to be further refined in connection, heat dissipation, protection, use, maintenance, and charging.
In terms of power lithium-ion batteries in China, Bian Shuguang predicted that 2020 will be the first stage of technology. The important thing is the development of new lithium-ion batteries, the improvement of energy density, and the intelligent manufacturing of power lithium-ion batteries; By 2025, China should make significant progress in new motor technology, make the development of power lithium-ion battery industry in line with the international advanced level, and cultivate large companies with strong international competitiveness. By 2030, the power lithium ion battery industry will enter a new stage of development. The improvement of battery cell energy and the application of new materials will reach the international leading level.
