At the special session of "Power Battery Pack System Material Upgrading Road", Liu Feng, director of Nanjing Chuangyuan Technology Center, delivered a keynote speech of "Overall solution for lightweight of new energy vehicles".
Liu Feng said that vehicle lightweight is a multi-dimensional overall solution, mainly involving body lightweight, chassis lightweight, drive system lightweight, electrical system lightweight and component lightweight.
As a solution supplier of the three electric systems, Nanjing Chuangyuan has an independent research institute, and has long-term research and test application accumulation in the light weight of the electric system.
Specifically, the lightweight of electrical system mainly includes the mass production and application of pack group efficiency, CellED and new materials/technologies.
Liu Feng said that in the lightweight process of the pack structure, the main ways to achieve lightweight are: 1. de-modulation. The former single module is changed into a large module. A/B adhesive is used in a large number of cells, and the side plate is replaced by a tie. 2. Electrical parts are lightweight, miniaturized and integrated. 3. Cancel the slave control. 4. In the process of core lightweight, the structure optimization and deletion of CID or SSD, the integrated design of adapter and cover plate, the use of friction welding and brazing instead of explosive welding, and the reduction of JR "T" structural parts can be used to realize core lightweight.
The research and progress of technology are promoting the development of the industry. However, the short certification cycle and some enterprises' eagerness to step forward will inevitably lead to the emergence of product hidden dangers.
"In the post-subsidy era, what should we face? All we do is to do a balance, safety, cost, performance, and other things. It is very important that what kind of product we produce can be recognized by the market." Liu Feng said that we should have enough awe for products.
It is understood that Nanjing Chuangyuan was founded in 2015 and mainly provides one-stop three-electricity system solutions. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carvo New Energy Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Carvo Group").
With the support of the whole industrial chain and the whole vehicle series products of Carvo Group, Nanjing Chuangyuan has more than 5300 new energy vehicles equipped with Chuangyuan power batteries. In the first half of this year, the installed capacity of power batteries exceeded 0.5GWh, and the sales reached 670 million yuan.
It is worth mentioning that in the market, Nanjing Chuangyuan adheres to the principle of market opening. In addition to supporting Nanjing Jinlong, the company is also open to other vehicle enterprises.
In order to match the future production capacity of pure electric vehicles, Nanjing Chuangyuantiandi officially started its research and development and production base of power, electricity and electricity in Guangzhou in March this year, and the production capacity is expected to be 10GWh after it is put into operation. Among them, Phase I and Phase II will use 200 mu of land respectively, which are the projects of power battery system with an annual output of 2GWh and power battery system with an annual output of 8GWh, and Phase III will build a battery cascade utilization and other components project base.
