On October 17, the sixth China South Korea Automobile Industry Development Seminar was held in Beijing. The theme of this year's forum is "sharing the experience of hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industrialization and building a hydrogen energy society in Yilai". Hyundai (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and the Ministry of Information Technology and Industry Development of the National Information Center jointly discuss and exchange the development of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industry with people from the industry.

With the support of governments, Toyota, Honda and Hyundai are playing a leading role in the field of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Zhang Jinhua, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering, believes that after years of efforts, the commercialization technology of fuel cells is basically mature. Now it is more important to reach the scale, but facing the supporting of the application environment of the entire infrastructure.(Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment)

In terms of the development of China's hydrogen energy battery vehicle industry, Zhang Jinhua pointed out that the subsidies used for fuel cells in the early days were not much, and there was some support for subsidies for hydrogen refueling stations, which should be restarted recently. Technically, in the development of hydrogen fuel cell, local enthusiasm is higher than that of the central government. Many local governments promote the R&D and application development of hydrogen fuel cell industry.

Distinguished leaders, experts and friends, good morning! Thank you very much for your invitation. Today is the topic composition. I have the opportunity to communicate with you on the development of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in China from three aspects.

The first is experience. South Korea has made a very systematic and comprehensive plan for the development of hydrogen energy and fuel cells. The development of new energy vehicles in China is relatively fast and the system construction is relatively comprehensive. However, there is a big gap between the two countries in terms of hydrogen energy battery planning. In terms of institutional construction, South Korea has taken into account the source and supply of hydrogen, product reserves, infrastructure construction and other factors. Secondly, hydrogen fuel is not only used by cars in South Korea, but also used for multiple purposes. The planning of the entire hydrogen society is very enlightening for the development of hydrogen energy vehicles in China.

The development based on hydrogen economy was first proposed by the United States and divided into four stages, including technology research and development preparation, market preparation, infrastructure construction, and comprehensive marketization classification. Once proposed, the government and the industry fully participated in the coordinated promotion.

The field of hydrogen energy and fuel cell has been supported by the government with an investment of more than 10 billion yuan. Such a large investment benefited from the FCAR plan, which was to promote the hydrogen economy during the Clinton period, focusing on hybrid power systems and improving fuel economy. During the George W. Bush period, we focused on promoting hydrogen energy, and focused on promoting the FCAR program with hydrogen fuel cells. It can be said that the United States is still leading in the field of hydrogen energy technology. In addition, his financial and tax support policies are in the form of subsidies, which is also an experience worth learning from in China.

As for Japan, it can be said that Japan was the first to propose the establishment of a hydrogen society and the development vision of a hydrogen society in the future. The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games is likely to fully demonstrate the technology of this hydrogen society. Japan has put forward such strategies as hydrogen economy and hydrogen society in many strategies. The future hydrogen energy economy and society may proceed from four aspects:
