Lithium battery materials of Hefei University of Technology -Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment



The reporter learned from Hefei University of Technology one day that the scientific researchers of Hefei University of Technology had made new progress in the research and development of electrode materials for high-performance manganese based lithium ion batteries, and the relevant research results were published in the excellent journal of international chemistry, German Applied Chemistry.

The next generation of lithium-ion batteries, which take electric vehicles and power grid energy storage as major application requirements, put forward higher requirements for energy density and rapid charging and discharging capability under the basic conditions of safety, environmental protection, cost, life, etc.

It is reported that the research group of Professor Zhang Weixin from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Hefei University of Technology, in cooperation with Professor Yang Shihe from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, has successfully prepared a series of one-dimensional micro nano structure electrode materials with uniform morphology, such as lithium rich, ternary, high potential nickel manganese based cathode materials for lithium ion batteries and transition metal oxide cathode materials, in the ethanol/water system, which shows that this method has good universality.(Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment)

The experimental results show that the discharge capacity of the homogeneous one-dimensional micro nano structure lithium rich materials prepared in this project has been greatly improved in the 10 hour slow discharge and 6 minute fast discharge tests.

It is reported that this method is simple in process, convenient in operation, and the reaction solvent can be recycled. It is green and environmentally friendly, and easy to realize industrialization. This research work has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation's Major Research Program, which has important scientific significance and broad application prospects.
