Lithium battery maintenance -Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment
Lithium primary batteries have very low self-discharge and can be stored for 3 years. The effect will be better when stored under refrigeration. It is a good idea to store lithium primary batteries in a low temperature place.
2. Lithium-ion battery
Also called secondary lithium-ion battery. It can be stored for more than half a year at 20°C due to its low self-discharge rate and most of the capacity can be recovered. Lithium-ion batteries that have been stored for a long time should be recharged every 3 to 6 months, that is, charged to a voltage of 3.8 to 3.9V and maintained at a depth of discharge of 40%-60%, and should not be fully charged.(Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment)
3. Do not charge the lithium-ion battery of the mobile phone until it is fully charged
Today's lithium-ion batteries do not have a memory function, so there is no need to wait until they run out of power to recharge. The best charging time of the mobile phone is about 30%-50% of the remaining power. This period is the period when the battery is relatively stable as a whole.
Complete discharge should be prevented (use to black screen and power off)
Frequent charging and discharging of the lithium-ion battery, charging when it is not fully discharged, using an external power supply, using it while charging, or continuing to use the external battery after charging is complete, will not cause additional damage to the battery.
When not in use for a long time, the lithium-ion battery should be taken out and placed in a cool and dry place. Do not freeze to prevent water vapor erosion. Avoid using it in a car with high temperature. For long-term storage, charge the battery to 40% before placing it.
