The hydrogen fluoride solvent method has a fast reaction speed and high efficiency, but the presence of HF has high requirements on the corrosion resistance of the reaction vessel. The organic solvent method prevents the occurrence of HF, and the operation is relatively safe, but PF5 still needs to be prepared and has strong corrosiveness.
