Challenges and opportunities of lithium battery industry development -Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment

On October 17, the "China Yichun · Global Lithium Industry Chain Summit Forum", sponsored by Yichun Municipal People's Government of Jiangxi Province, China Investment Consulting Co., Ltd., and organized by Zhenli Research, Yichun Municipal Bureau of Commerce of Jiangxi Province, and Zhongzi Huashu Capital Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd., opened in Beijing.

Wang Ping, Mayor of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, said in his speech that the holding of the 2018 China Yichun Global Lithium Battery Industry Chain Summit Forum was a useful attempt to closely integrate industry, education and research in the lithium battery field, an important bridge for the in-depth connection between capital and industry, and a vivid practice to further promote the industrial cluster development and coordinated development.(Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment)

At the same time, in order to promote the overall upgrading of the industry, Nie Min, Chairman of China Investment Consulting Corporation, proposed to build a cooperation platform integrating "government, enterprise, research and integration", and to promote the high-quality development of lithium battery industry by giving play to its professional advantages in the field of consulting and asset management.

Facing multiple challenges: comprehensively promoting industrial upgrading

Nie Min, Chairman of China Investment Consulting Corporation, pointed out that with the improvement of relevant policy systems, the strengthening of regulatory systems and the standardization of institutional mechanisms, the new energy lithium battery industry is entering the growth and development acceleration period from the cultivation period, and the industry's development potential is expected.

"At the same time, the industrial development is also facing some huge challenges." She analyzed that the current international market environment is not optimistic. There is a big gap between the basic technology of the domestic lithium battery industry and the international advanced regions, and the R&D capacity needs to be improved. The decline of subsidies and the narrowing of profit margins have led to increased business risks for enterprises in the industry.

Based on this, she put forward four suggestions. First, closely cooperate with the government to ensure the implementation and development of the industry; The second is to strengthen cooperation with international leading enterprises, especially technical exchanges with Japan and South Korea. The third is to strengthen exchanges between universities and enterprises, establish a complete production, teaching and research system. The fourth is to strengthen cooperation with finance, and promote the deep concentration and coordinated development of lithium battery industry in appropriate regions through the combination of industry and finance.

In addition, Qi Lu, a professor at Peking University, also elaborated on his thoughts on the development of the industry at this stage, especially in view of the frequent occurrence of safety accidents in electric vehicles recently. Qi Lu emphasized that "the current energy density is almost inversely proportional to the safety of lithium batteries, so it is urgent to solve the safety and reliability of lithium batteries for electric vehicles."

In his opinion, batteries with appropriate energy density are more conducive to the development of electric vehicle industry. Pure electric vehicles with a range of 200-300km can basically meet the needs of urban residents.

Boost the construction of "Asian lithium valley": the industry is transferred to the central and western regions

Recently, in view of the situation that the consumer market space in the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Bay is becoming saturated and lithium battery enterprises are migrating to the central and western regions, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, has proposed the development goal of building an "Asian lithium valley" and a hundred billion industry.

Wang Ping introduced that Yichun has obvious regional advantages, is the common hinterland of "Chang Zhu Min", is the "bridgehead" to undertake coastal industrial transfer, and has the world's largest reserves of lithium mica advantageous resources and the only national lithium new energy high-tech industrialization base.

He pointed out that Yichun has issued a series of policies to support the development of lithium battery industry, set up a 5 billion yuan industrial development guidance fund, established a mature and efficient mechanism for major project construction and enterprise assistance, and planned to build 10 million square meters of standard factory buildings within three years, of which more than 3 million square meters will be started this year, laying a solid foundation for industrial agglomeration.
