It is worth noting that all passenger cars of BYD this year, except the e6, will be replaced with ternary batteries. At present, most of the models launched by the company have a cruising range of more than 400km.

As of the end of 2017, the total output of power lithium batteries is 16Gwh, of which 6Gwh is ternary battery and 10Gwh is lithium iron phosphate battery. The planned output of the power lithium battery factory in Qinghai is 24Gwh.

At present, in the catalog of new energy vehicles, the energy density of BYD ternary battery pACK level can be up to 160wh/kg or more.

In addition, BYD also revealed that the company is also developing solid-state batteries, and its energy density will be much higher than that of 811 batteries.

Regarding the subsidy policy in 2018, BYD said that the subsidy policy in 2018 is divided into two periods: the transition period and the formal period. During the transition period, the subsidy for all models will be reduced by 30% according to the subsidy standard of the previous year. However, in the official period, corresponding subsidies will be given according to different parameter standards. It is very beneficial to new energy vehicles with high performance parameters. For example, in 2017, the national subsidy for pure electric vehicles over 400 kilometers is 44,000, but in 2018, the national subsidy is 50,000 for the same battery life of more than 400 kilometers. If the energy density is above 140wh/kg, and the power consumption per 100 kilometers is better than 25%, two subsidies of 1.1 times can be obtained, and the national subsidy can be up to about 60,000 yuan. The national policy is to support the excellent and the strong, and encourage the development of high-quality companies.
