Breakthrough in lithium battery materials in China -Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment
On May 3, it was learned from the Ministry of Science and Technology that recently, a scientific research achievement of Hefei University of Technology adopted a novel soft chemical synthesis method, proposed an advanced material preparation process, achieved a breakthrough in the performance of lithium ion batteries through the research on electrode materials, and provided more optimized options for application projects such as electric vehicles and power grid storage. Relevant research achievements were published in the excellent international chemical journal German Applied Chemistry.
This electrode material with uniform composition, structure, morphology and size can better maintain a consistent charge discharge state during the charge discharge process of lithium ion batteries. Moreover, one-dimensional micro nano structure electrode materials are conducive to shortening the lithium ion diffusion and electron transport path, buffering the structural strain caused by lithium ions during the insertion and removal process, so that lithium ion batteries have excellent electrochemical performance. The experimental results show that the discharge capacity of the homogeneous one-dimensional micro nano structure lithium rich materials prepared in this project has been greatly improved in the 10 hour slow discharge and 6 minute fast discharge tests. The method is simple in process, convenient in operation, and the reaction solvent can be recycled, which is green and environmentally friendly, and easy to realize industrialization.(Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment)
